Rogue’s Manor
Opens to Tourists
(EUREKA SPRINGS, AR)—
Over the past few years, residents of and
motorists driving through Holiday Island and
the town of Beaver have marveled as surreal
structures emerged from a bluff overlooking
Table Rock Lake. “It’s hard to miss six
medieval edifices on top of a mountain,
after all,” quipped owner and builder Smith
Treuer.
After opening its doors to the public only
briefly in mid-May, Castle Rogue’s Manor,
will soon reveal its secrets to visitors on
a regular basis. Beginning July 7, public
tours of the Gatekeeper’s Cottage and the
Great Hall, the two main structures making
up the “castle,” will take place every
Saturday morning at 10 am.
Reservations will be required and tickets
are $20 for adults and $10 for kids.
Private showings are also available by
appointment. A third tour option is also
offered—the Wine Tasting Tour, by
appointment only. Tickets are $50 for
adults and $10 (no wine!) for kids. Group
Tour pricing is also available.
All tours will include Ceremonial Point, an
outcropping offering a breathtaking view
from the point of the bluff overlooking the
lake, and the lush gardens on the premises.
Castle Rogue’s Manor is also now available
for private, business, organization and
community functions, and for weddings
(including at Ceremonial Point.)
